Morpheus8 and Morpheus8 Body is a minimally invasive treatment that uses radio frequency microneedling to help improve skin concerns such as acne scarring, laxity, texture and reverses the aging process by simulating collagen and elastin.
Morpheus8 and Morhpeus8 Body uses insulated needles that deliver radio frequency heat into the skin for epidermal resurfacing and sub-dermal adipose tissue fractional remodeling. This creates a controlled wound to the skin to over flood the tissue with production of new healthy collagen and elastin and breaks down fat cells.
It varies depending on the severity of initial cell damage. It is recommended starting out with a series of 3-6 treatments of Morpheus 8 and Morpheus8 Body. After your 3-6 treatments it is recommended to come back 3+ times a year to maintain your results. Results are considered permanent if done in the recommended time frame your provider has suggested but it is inevitable that we collect cell damage due to internal and external factors.
Results are dependent on how many treatments are needed for the severity of initial cell damage. Each treatment helps improve concerns. Over the course of 4-6 weeks after your treatment you will start to see improvement in laxity of the skin, scarring, stretch marks, texture and overall skin health.
After your Morpheus8 or Morpheus8 body treatment you will immediately feel heat radiating from the skin for up to 48 hours. It will feel like you have a bad sunburn to the area that was treated. It is essential to keep your body temperature down during the healing process. That includes no saunas, hot tubs, sun exposure, or tanning beds for 7-10 days post procedure. Exercise is not recommended for the first 24-48 hours and it is advised to keep workouts minimal during the 7-10 days of healing to avoid bacteria interacting with the controlled wound. You will need to keep the area clean using gentle cleansers and ingredients and keeping the skin moisturized. Swelling and bruising can occur depending on the intensity of the treatment. Makeup and sunscreen will need to be avoided for 24-48 hours post treatment.
We provide tools to make this treatment as comfortable as possible including topical anesthetic, anti-inflammatory and anti-anxiety medications if needed.
